We arrived at Mount Havana after a bit of a difficult drive, it was raining and we were so tired from travel, but the minute we arrived we couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces. The place is SO peaceful and the view is magnificent. We loved our 2 nights there – we did a trip into Kandy one day, and just relaxed on the grounds the other. We stayed in the aftermath of the devastating Easter bombings but we couldn’t imagine a place where we felt more welcome and safe then at Mount Havana. The staff is swift, professional and friendly and always at your service with a push on the button. The menu is of high quality and they serve great wines. Do take a tour of the 25 acre eco farm surrounding the complex and get educated about al the local spices and fruits, afterwards you can enjoy the infinity pool with an amazing view
